Explore Our ResearchThe Intelligent Financial Innovation Technology (IFIT) Laboratory at National Taipei University is a cutting-edge research lab dedicated to exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, financial technology, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
Our mission is to develop innovative technological solutions for the financial sector that are not only efficient and effective but also sustainable and responsible. We aim to bridge the gap between academic research and industry applications, creating real-world impact through our work.
Founded in 2021 by Professor Min-Yuh Day, our lab brings together a diverse team of researchers, professors, and students working on various AI and FinTech projects with a particular focus on ESG data analytics, generative AI for sustainability reporting, and green financial technology innovations.
The lab operates under the Graduate Institute of Information Management (IM), National Taipei University (NTPU) and Fintech and Green Finance Center (FGFC), collaborating with industry partners and government agencies to advance sustainable finance through technological innovation.
Developing AI solutions, including generative AI, deep reinforcement learning, and large language models for financial applications and ESG data analytics.
Creating frameworks and innovative tools for ESG reporting, analysis, and sustainable finance with a focus on carbon market sentiment index and green finance data analytics.
Applying big data techniques for financial time series analysis, trading strategies optimization, and visualization of financial market data with heatmap approaches.
Building AI-powered conversational systems, including multimodal cross-lingual task-oriented dialogue systems for inclusive financial communication support.
Researching algorithmic trading, technical analysis, and portfolio optimization using AI and deep reinforcement learning with applications to cryptocurrencies and traditional markets.
Developing financial knowledge graphs for cryptocurrency anti-money laundering and sustainable finance applications using text mining and information extraction.
